Galaxy S4 - initial impression.

Got my Samsung galaxy S4 yesterday and have given it a run. The one underrated app is the watchon app. Basically, it's a remote control app which also makes suggestions for programs to watch based on your preferences. You can also watch these within the app as well. The remote control has worked brilliantly on my lounge and bedroom tvs and the sky+ box, as well as my Hitachi freeview box. You can also allocate and name different remotes to different rooms.

So far the battery life is better than on the galaxy S3 with most futures on. Just I've 24 hours.

I have made a video  of how to connect to O2 or EE if that is where you would like to start.    Context I have owned both Samsung and Apple smartwatches since the first issues of both. They are only taking urgent calls during the pandemic. Advised to visit website www.o2.co.uk. What they do not know is that I always start with the website before I make contact. There is no plan for the Galaxy Watch 3 or information for the 4G smartwatch except for pairing. Galaxy s2 battery drain after ics update (Poor battery life)

So if you have now got your ics update you will be over the moon. I have had mine for a few days and i have to say, it's the best mobile phone operating system i've ever used (yes i've used ios longer than i've been on android). I'm not going to go into this though. I've noticed one problem which is battery drain. Now i don't know the technical stuff apart from things like turning off bluetooth, wifi, etc saves battery. I'm gonna tell you that you don't need to change any of the settings you had before the upgrade. What you need to do is let your battery go flat and then charge it fully from the mains not bluetooth. Do this a few times (usually takes a week of using ics to sort the problem out) and the system seems to optimise battery use and should be back to how it was before the upgrade.
